What size should I order?
The classic case will fit most glasses and sunglasses. The XL was designed with Aviator and Wayfarer sunglasses in mind – glasses with larger lenses that need more space inside. The rubber inner and shape of the mould means that movement is minimised and cushioned. So even if your glasses are a little smaller than the case, your glasses will still receive maximum protection.
What is an Ayres case made of and how is it made?
The outer casing starts out as a block of aerospace-grade 7000 series aluminium which is precision cut into the Ayres shape using state-of-the-art CNC technology.
The protective rubber layer inside each case is made from Envirolast – a reconstructed rubber that’s made from rubber tyres that that come to the end of their life. The Envirolast is reformed and moulded into the perfect shape for an Ayres case – giving the tyres a second lease of life and your glasses the protection they need.
USAGE AND CARE
How should I care for my case?
An Ayres case comes with a lifetime guarantee and an unbreakable promise. It can take anything you can throw at it. But there are a few things noted below that you can do to make sure it stays at its very best for the longest.
How should I clean my case?
The best way to clean both the outer and inner is with a damp cloth of hot soapy water. Then thoroughly wipe it with a dry cloth to finish off. While surface sprays are also effective, they may damage the product when used over a long period of time.
How do I stop the outer case from corroding?
Aluminium doesn’t rust, but it may corrode. This should only happen if it’s exposed to salt water or chlorinated water, if you try to keep it dry the outer should withstand pretty much anything else.
Is the Ayres case waterproof?
The seal is not watertight so it’s not suitable to be submerged. Putting the Ayres case into sea water or chlorinated water will corrode the metal.

How long will my order take to arrive?
Standard orders are dispatched within 48 hours and should arrive within 3-5 working days of dispatch to the UK and 5-10 days worldwide.
How long does it take for a personalised order?
Orders with personalisation are made to order so will take 7 days to prepare and dispatch. Delivery times are the then same as standard orders.
RETURNS
Can I return my order?
Yes, we offer a free 30 day returns policy and will issue a full refund once the item has been received by us at our warehouse.
Can I edit / cancel my order?
As soon as you receive your order confirmation e-mail, you’ll have up to one hour in which to cancel and receive a full refund. After this, your order will have been processed and will be very difficult to cancel. If you still wish to cancel the order, you’ll have to wait for it to arrive and follow the returns process above.
My order arrived damaged, what do I do?
If any Ayres products are damaged in transit, we will replace them free of charge. Please get in touch and let us know what happened so we can sort out a replacement quickly and try to make sure it doesn’t happen to any of our customers in the future.
